Morning fruit smoothie made Aloha daily good greens

This winter I went on a big oatmeal kick. It was exactly what I needed to fighter a cold day ahead; warm, nourishing and packed with fiber to keep me satisfied. With winter behind me I can finally resume mixing up my favorite morning breakfast.

With warmer temperatures, spring and summer call for smoothies. ALOHA gifted me with a pack of their Daily Good Greens and I've been incorporating the mix into my morning concoctions. Each tiny packet contains 14 superfoods and 2 servings of fruits & vegetables. I've been testing out the chocolate blend and I feel like I'm eating dessert for breakfast without a hint of guilt.

By incorporating a base of frozen bananas into my smoothies, I've recreated ice cream's consistency while adding more nutritious ingredients and flavors. Has anyone else jumped on the banana ice cream trend? The fruit has become the magical element for producing vegan, gluten-free, no added sugar rich ice cream. Hence the reason I always anticipate my morning meals!

Featured Smoothie Recipe:
